Smokefree Legislation

From 1 July 2007, the whole of the UK will have smokefree legislation in place. Virtually all workplaces will be smokefree, which means that all employees in offices, shops, factories, restaurants or pubs will be able to work in a clean, smokefree environment. However it would appear that hotels will still be able to let rooms to Smokers as long as they are correctly signed and comply with ventilation requirements. But what about the Chambermaid and other hotel workers who will not have a choice of a smokefree environment. How do you feel about that.

This has been long overdue, in Australia we have similar issues which are slowly getting resolved too.
